This is a collection of source code to sample programs that serve the purpose of assisting beginner programmers to better understand programming. If I actually add source code that is useful in the real world it will be in another section. Some of these programs were written by me and others I have gathered (legally) from other sites.

Line Counter , like the name says, this is a simple program that counts the how many lines there are in any files entered after the program on the command line. To reduce the complexity of this program I did not optimize the code to accept wildcards (*) on Windows machines.

Slot Machine generates three random numbers, using rand(), from 1 to 10, if all three match, you get 3 quarters added to the 5 that you start off with, if two match you get one and if none match you get one taken away.

C++ String Class The name pretty much says it all.
